Terms of Use

These terms apply when you visit tryanchora.com, create an account, or use the Anchora app. By using Anchora, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Anchora is operated by Ajinkya Kale, Pyramid Urban Homes, Sector 67, Gurugram, Haryana 122018, India. Contact hello@tryanchora.com or ajinkya@tryanchora.com with questions.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these terms. Each account is for one student and must be used only by that student.

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Tell us at hello@tryanchora.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Anchora helps you plan and track your study-abroad journey yourself: your next steps, milestones, profile, background and goals, and application documents. Atlas, an optional AI guide, and Google Connect, an optional link to your Google account, are part of the service. The current service is for adult applicants in India who intend to study in Germany.

Features may change, pause, or be removed as the service develops. We may introduce usage limits, maintenance windows, or new requirements, and we will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.

You keep ownership of the information and documents you add to Anchora (your content). You give Anchora a limited permission to host, store, copy, display, and process your content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to add it.

• Upload only your own documents that relate to your application.
• Do not upload health or medical records, documents about anyone other than yourself, or anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
• Do not upload altered, forged, or misleading documents. Anchora does not verify document authenticity.
• Files must be PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, or DOCX, up to 20 MB each. Keep your own copies of important originals.
• Marking a document as uploaded or a step as done in Anchora is your own record. It is not a decision by any university, embassy, or authority.

• Do not break the law, infringe rights, impersonate others, or submit information you are not authorized to use.
• Do not probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass Anchora's security or access controls except where law expressly permits it.
• Do not distribute malware, automate abusive account creation, scrape the service, or use it to send spam.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or provide the service to others without our permission.

Anchora organizes and supports your application journey. It does not provide legal, immigration, admissions, financial, or other professional advice. Dates shown in Anchora are planning targets unless they come from an identified official source. Check requirements and deadlines with the official source before you act.

Anchora does not guarantee admission, scholarships, visas, university acceptance, or any other outcome.

Atlas gives AI-generated explanations based on your journey and official sources. It can be wrong or out of date. Treat its answers as guidance, not advice, and check important details with the official source before you act.

Atlas can suggest changes, such as updating a step or drafting an email, but nothing happens until you accept it. You are responsible for the suggestions you accept.

Do not use Atlas to create false documents, mislead universities or authorities, or get around official requirements. Atlas declines these requests. Daily usage limits apply.

Anchora relies on third-party services, including Supabase, Google, Vercel, OpenAI, TypeSafe, Resend, and Cloudflare. Their availability and separate terms or privacy practices may affect your use of Anchora. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

If you connect a Google account, you authorize Anchora to read and, with your approval, write the Google data described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the emails you approve and send through Anchora. You can disconnect at any time.

Anchora and its product design, software, content, and branding remain owned by their respective rights holders. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation to improve Anchora, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

You may stop using Anchora at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, material breach of these terms, or closure of the service.

Download any documents you want to keep before deleting your account. After deletion, your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy unless the law requires us to keep it.

Anchora is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Anchora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the early-access service. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to applicable law.

We may update these terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and update the date above. Continuing to use Anchora after the revised terms take effect means you accept them. Questions can be sent to hello@tryanchora.com or ajinkya@tryanchora.com.
